Beetlejuice JR

A Triple Threat Academy Production

Open Registration for Ages 12-18 (as of Aug 16)

The Experience

By registering for this Triple Threat Academy Production, your cast member will embark on an immersive musical theatre training experience centered around the rehearsal and performance of Beetlejuice JR. Designed for performers ready to deepen their skills, this program combines high-quality instruction with the excitement of mounting a fully realized production.

Through a combination of full cast and small group rehearsals, cast members will strengthen their abilities in acting, vocal performance, and dance technique. Students will explore character development, physical storytelling, vocal health and artistry, stage presence, and performance precision while gaining a deeper understanding of theatrical terminology, rehearsal practices, and professional expectations.

The program culminates in a fully produced presentation of Beetlejuice JR, where cast members will bring their training to life on stage with costumes, sets, props, lighting, sound, and theatrical effects.

About Beetlejuice JR

It's our show now, kid. The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium.
