Kids On Stage is excited to celebrate its 10th Birthday with a return to the swamp as a tribute to our very first production, Shrek: The Musical JR.
Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure that brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears.
"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

Content Warning: SHREK The Musical contains mild language, fantasy peril, potty humor, occasional adult innuendo, references to bullying and prejudice, and some potentially intense scenes involving isolation and threats, but ultimately promotes messages of self-acceptance, friendship, and celebrating differences.

How much are the tickets & how can I buy them?
Tickets are $10 for Children (10 & Under) and $12 for Adults and can be purchased at the door using cash/check or online.
What time should I arrive?
Doors to the auditorium open 30 minutes before curtain (the showtime). Please feel free to come early to get settled, grab some concessions (cash only), and look through your program.
Where will my seats be?
There are no assigned seats so we recommend arriving at the start of doors opening for the best seats! Season Punch Card Holders will be let in before general admission ticket holders to secure the best seats.
What if I am late?
Our ushers will stay in the lobby for five minutes after the start of the show to allow for late arrivals to check in. You will not be allowed to enter the theater until the current song/scene is finished. Should you arrive more than five minutes after the start of the show, we can not honor your tickets.
