Overview

The KOS Arts Educator Exchange is a one-day professional development experience designed for music and theatre educators, teaching artists, and youth arts professionals. Through live performances, interactive workshops, student leadership conversations, and time to connect with fellow educators, we’ll explore what young people can learn through the arts and how those experiences can shape the way we teach, lead, create, and advocate.

An interactive workshop exploring how to articulate the skills young people develop through theatre and use that language to advocate for the value of youth arts programs.

Watch the pilot production through the lens of translating a licensed script into a complete theatrical production.

Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile JR. Talkback: Lessons From the Process & Closing

Explore the lessons, challenges, discoveries, and adjustments from the pilot process, giving participants a practical framework for reflecting on and improving their own productions.

Turn the day's ideas into action by identifying one specific practice, strategy, or change each participant will take back to their own program
