About The Experience

Plato once said, “Those who tell the stories rule society.” In this virtual experience, cast members will explore shows like Hamilton, Come From Away, Newsies, and more through discussions, videos, scenes, and songs as we thread a needle in the broadway narrative.  Each cast member will select a solo from a Broadway musical to work on with the Director. There will be a strong focus on storytelling and characterization. The experience will culminate in a virtual showcase that will be streamed online.

Requirements
-Access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet connection
-Video camera (most likely built into your device). A separate webcam is also fine.
-Microphone (most likely built into your device). A headset or external mic is also fine.
-Ability to record, and email those recordings to the director.

Auditions

No audition is needed for this experience. All casting will take place during rehearsal.

Material Pick Up

We have several items we need your cast member to have so they can be successful. We are offering a material pick up night on September 12 at the Greene County Wellness Center. We are also offering a mail option for an additional $5. When cast members register they can select the best option for them!

Schedule

The cast will meet once a week via Zoom for a large group rehearsal for about one hour.
