 Show Synopsis

ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

The story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter, and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. A large cast, non-stop laughs, and explosive dance numbers combine to make Mamma Mia! a guaranteed smash hit!

Tuition & Fundraising

Tuition for this summer camp is $100 per cast member. This production fee will include one week of musical theater instruction, a cast t-shirt, several pre-camp rehearsals, and the production script. Financial assistance and payment plans are available. Please email parker@gckidsonstage.org for info.

Due to the participation cost associated with our program compared to the high cost of producing a production, several fundraisers are required of the cast. Parents may pay a buy-out fee of $250 to not have to participate in any of the planned fundraisers.

Schedule & Rehearsal Attendance

A full rehearsal schedule is attached below. Please look over it closely to make sure your child has minimal conflicts with the rehearsal process and zero conflicts with tech week and show dates. After completing the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email with an opportunity to tell our Production Team of any known conflicts with the rehearsal schedule. We will take note of these and plan accordingly.

This Summer Camp is one week long with a few pre-camp rehearsals. Pre-Camp rehearsals allow the cast and crew to lay a solid foundation before camp begins as well as prepare any needed set, costumes, and props before camp begins.
